MSCC20 Servo Control Computer Additional Info

(actual size = 2.15" x 3.5")
[SBOT28 photo]

The figure at the right shows an MSCC20 Servo Control Computer configured to operate 12 R/C servos. The board can be setup to control up to 20 servos. Pins not used for servos can be used for general I/O.

Series resistors are used between the cpu chip and the external header for protection of the cpu. The lower lefthand area of the pcb has been left open for customization, and can be used for additional servo connections, digital I/O, or A/D channels. The proto area has space for custom circuitry, such as voltage dividers, filter capacitors, LEDs, etc. The 0.100" TIL header at the left directly interfaces R/C servos with Futaba pinout (signal-power-gnd).

Additional information about the pcb used by the MSCC20 can be found on the SBOT28 Controller Board page.

Physical. 2.15" x 3.5" (56 x 89 mm) - credit card-sized, industrial-quality double-sided FR4 pcb with heavy buss traces, plated-through holes, solder masks and silk-screens.
